Already One Month Old

Time sure does fly, especially when your chasing a 3-1/2 and 1 yr old and taking care of a newborn.  

Codi is officially one month old!  

One month checkup:

Weight: 10 pounds

Height:  22 inches

Head: 38 cm or almost 15 inches

Eating: 5-6 ounces every 3-4 hours

Sleeping:  most of the day unless we are eating and at night about every 5 hours

Hair color: Brown

Eye color: Blue

Clothes size: just started wearing 0-3 mths even though they are slightly big, her newborns are not

Diapers: we are size 1 - once these are gone we will be starting cloth diapers

Codi loves to snuggle, she is a BIG pooper and grunts ALOT when she eats.  She is unsure about all these bows, but wears them with style.  She loves her big brothers when they talk to her.  She is trooper to be able to sleep through all her brother's loud noises and to handle their wanting to hold her and kiss her and touch her ALL the time.  

Codi's Nursery Final Reveal!

Codi is 3 weeks old and we love her to pieces.  She completes are family!  Since Codi has joined our family we were in the process of installing wood flooring in our house so I never got around to posting final pictures of her nursery.  She is sleeping away in her crib and the boys are sharing a room now.

Codi's room came together so nicely and on a budget.  She loves staring at the pops of color in her room and the chevron design on the wall.

 Rocking chair was a freebie from a sweet friend and the quilt on the back of the rocking chair was made by my grandmother - Codi's great grandmother who she is partially named after.  Codi JoAnn (Grandma Ann)

 Night table from Walmart - lamp from Hobby Lobby and a cute fabric fairy tale book on the table.

 Lots and Lots of clothes

 cute bird house that holds sweet notes to Codi from Hobby Lobby (a gift) and then a piece of ABC artwork with her name in pink from Made By Girl.  I bought a white frame from Michaels.

Her dresser which I refinished with white and gray paint.  It use to be stained! Bought the aqua knobs from Anthropologie on clearance! Aqua baskets from Lowes Hardware.

Her crib is from Walmart - Olivia Mod - love it!  Owl artwork I painted

 All bedding was made.  Crib skirt made and velcro to frame so it can move with the changing heights of the crib.  Crib sheets were all made by my mom and then a breathable bumper form Babies R Us.  Owl monogram pillow is from Pottery Barn Kids
